Gus Duffy AIA Architect is pleased to announce we have been honored by the AIA-SFV2010 Design Awards for our project at 12965 Blairwood.  The vision was to update this mid-century modern into a contemporary classic home, full of bright, open and family friendly spaces.  The owner wanted to be sure the building maintained GREEN standards.  This eco-friendly approach to building utilizes recycled, renewable, and sustainable products, systems, and equipment.  It was also created with allergen-free interior air quality through use of appropriate materials and air filtering while bringing the property up to current energy and life-safety codes.  The project was a team effort which included the amazing talents of Scrafano Architects and SMK Construction.  To see more pictures of this house, look under Featured Projects for a full slide show presentation.
